Hello!! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday, well those in the US! Back in the studio and finally moving ahead with a few things I've been thinking about for the past few months. I'm working in a book besides slathering cold wax and paint on panels. You know how you have a vision of something? and then when it finally comes down to the execution it goes upside down in a way you didn't see coming? Yah?, well that's how my little book project is going. I'm not unhappy with the way it is manifesting, just a bit surprised. Anyway, the picture below is one of the sections I worked on today. It's heavy mixed media and again, I find combining collage, painting, assembling, etc., all a very satisfying way to work.

Christmas is showing itself everywhere now and I'm enjoying all the sparkle!! Small pop-up shops showing up in our little town -I think it's such a creative way to do business, especially in these challenging times. See you all on the other side of the week!!
